The Southernmost FOOLS are throwing their first ever Cinco De Mayo party at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club. Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us at a beautiful location overlooking the bay and in the heart of Coconut Grove. Great music, booze, and a good cause. What else can you ask for? We are throwing the party to benefit Marcel Morejon Jr, nephew of Lt. Luis Torres. Marcel suffers from Autism. Here are some words from his mother, Barby describing their struggle:
So, I know everyone has their story right? Well, here is a piece of mine. My 3 year old son Marcel Jr has autism. I have tried so many different treatments to try and help him. But it is only in this recent program that I have seen true progress. Insurance doesnt cover it and its just under $5,000 a month. And I have been denied all government assistance. Im asking you, friends, to help me however you can so that he can finish the school year. No amount you help me with is too small.
